Fuel Surcharges Effective March 24, 2000, CANPAR implemented a fuel surcharge on all Canada Ground, Select and U.S. freight charges; the surcharge does not apply to ancillary or service charges. We will use the most recent CANADIAN average pump prices published on MJ Ervin & Associates' website to determine the surcharge percentage for each bi/weekly invoice. We have developed a formula to respond to the change in fuel price, which is reflected in the fuel surcharge scale attached. There will be no fuel surcharge when the Canadian average price for regular gasoline returns to 60 cents per litre or less. The fuel surcharge will be the last item on your invoice. For your convenience, the calculation for the surcharge amount will be printed at the bottom of your bi-weekly invoice.
